Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein Powder Review

If you have ever looked into buying protein powder, chances are you came across Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey at some point. They are a very reputable company and constantly produce quality supplements. Although this isn't the protein powder I use myself, I understand why you may choose to use this great product.

- First of all, the variety of different flavours Optimum offer is brilliant. There is so many to choose from and the ones I have tried in the past have not let me down. Even why I've been using water instead of milk when cutting they still taste great (obviously it is better with milk though!). Out of all the different flavours you will find one that you love.

- The amount of protein per serving is absolutely superb. It beats many other rival products at 24g, narrowly surpassing My Protein's Impact whey by 1g! This will definitely make your recovery quicker and get you the results you want. When I have used this product in the past, I definitely noticed that I wouldn't be as sore the next day and generally felt great after having a shake post workout.

- It is just a quality powder. There's no other way of saying it! With many products, even when using a ball in your shaker you still get some lumps in the shake, making it more difficult and unpleasant to drink. This never happens with this powder. It always blends brilliantly and this just shows that it is great quality stuff.

One of the most off-putting things about this product is that it is slightly more expensive than some other brands. At around £25 per kilogram, it isn't the cheapest option on the market. However, you are paying for quality. If you're looking for a great tasting, high protein content, easy blend powder and you don't mind paying a bit more money, this is the product for you!
